HEIDENHAIN iTNC 530 HSCI CNC Control (5 axes + spindle):
Including a 15,1” flat screen, metallic keyboard with integrated mouse, and USB interface on the control panel. Processor speed 0.5 ms, including HEIDENHAIN smarT.NC
Automatic MTE milling head diagonal Type
Automatically swiveling milling head in diagonal design, with division 2.5° x 2.5° (Hirth serration) speed 4,000 rpm. To ensure a constant temperature even at maximum load (speed and power) in continuous operation, the milling head is equipped with oil cooling for the spindle bearings. This ensures that the milling head, the main spindle gearbox, and the machine's hydraulic oil are maintained at the same temperature range, thus ensuring not only a constant but also a uniform temperature control of the machine.
The milling head housing is designed for a power of 45 kW and a maximum torque of 2,000 Nm. It is completely made of high-quality steel casting GS 60, thus offering maximum stability and long-term accuracy. The milling head automatically swivels in both planes through a cycle in the NC control and is indexed in the respective angular position in both planes via a Hirth serration. This guarantees repeatability with a precision of ± 3 sec. (equivalent to ± 0.002 mm) in any angular position.
Coolant System with 20bar & Internal Coolant Supply (IKZ):
The machine is equipped with a coolant system that ensures optimal cooling of the tool and workpiece depending on tool usage and material. The coolant exits at the milling head through flushing nozzles on the tool spindle and through the center of the tool (IKZ) according to DIN 69871 Form AD. Main tank (volume): 1000 Liter High-pressure pump brand: Grundfoss Delivery rate: 40l/min External cooling: 5 bar Internal cooling: 20 bar The coolant tank is equipped with a paper band filter system and additional cartridge filters with pressure monitoring for each channel.
Splash guard and safety enclosure:
Machine cladding in U-shape on the machine table in the following equipment: - Side panels (height approx. 3000 mm) with large viewing windows at the right and left end of the machine table. - 2 front doors, manually sliding, mounted on recirculating roller guides Front doors with large viewing windows - Doors fitted with Euchner TP4 safety switches
Light barrier protection on the right and left of the mobile upright on the rear of the telescopic covers in the X-axis at the rear of the machine machine to prevent access to the machine's danger zone.
40 Position Automatic Tool Changer
3 Stage Oil-Cooled Spindle Speed Control
20 - 4,000 rpm
1460 Nm
The machine bed, machine stand and vertical saddle are made of lamellar graphite cast iron GG30 to improve the damping properties
The milling slide and the saddle of the X-axis are made of high-quality GJS-600 nodular graphite cast iron to ensure maximum rigidity and thus maximum mechanical precision.
Automatic milling head made of cast steel (GS 60) in diagonal design, swiveling 2.5° / 2.5° (optional 2.5° x 1°) and speed 4,000 rpm
Spindle orientation via the NC control
Oil circulation-cooled 3-stage main spindle gearbox with automatic changeover, a maximum drive power of 30 KW and a maximum torque of torque of 1460 Nm (optional 1750 Nm)
The gear wheels in the gearbox are helical cut. The gear wheels are made made of chrome-nickel steel and are hardened and precision ground
Cooling unit with temperature control for cooling the transmission and hydraulic oil. This ensures uniform temperature control of all machine assemblies
INA linear roller guides in all 3 axes:
X-axis (longitudinal): 8 pieces Type: INA RUE 65 EL
Y-axis (vertical): 4 pieces Type: INA RUE 55 EL
Z-axis (transverse): 8 pieces Type: INA RUE 45 EL
Linear measuring system “Heidenhain” (0.001mm) in all axes
Hydraulic weight compensation in the vertical axis
Milling slide above and below in the vertical axis with Steel slat cover to protect the rear machine compartment Closed
Vertical axis (in the rear machine room) above and below the vertical saddle of the vertical saddle to protect the guideways, the ball screw and the ball screw and the measuring system from contamination with bellows cover closed
Automatic central lubrication of the axes and ball screws
Telescopic cover to protect the guideways and drive units in the X-axis with replaceable wipers
Portable electronic handwheel, “Heidenhain HR - 410” with axis selection
Automatic temperature compensation
Additional electric foot pedal for manual tool change
Safety contact strips (integrated in the emergency stop circuit) on the right and left side of the traveling column to safeguard this danger zone
Work area lighting
Tool-Center-Point Optimization Software
This package includes cycles for the automatic determination of milling head dimensions. The dimensions are automatically measured using a radio wave probe on a precision ball, then stored and activated in the kinematic tables. Additionally, various intermediate positions can be measured and recorded. The supply does not include the measuring probe or the TCP optimization device (ball).
This software facilitates precision in milling operations by automating the measurement and adjustment process, ensuring that the milling head operates with optimal accuracy. It's an essential tool for modern, high precision machining environments, enhancing both efficiency and accuracy.
Wireless Probe System RWP38.41:
Bidirectional activation.
Steep taper DIN69871 SK50.
Toolbox 38.41-TB.
M4 probe stylus (ceramic shaft), length = 53 mm.
Wireless receiver RWR95.40 with a flexible antenna and TNC connector.
The electronic measurement of workpieces significantly reduces alignment and setup times, enhancing production monitoring. By checking the workpieces, a consistently high-quality level of the manufactured parts is ensured.
This system is a critical component for maintaining efficiency and high standards in production. Its ability to provide precise measurements and alignments in various orientations of the milling head ensures that the parts produced meet the desired specifications and quality benchmarks, streamlining the manufacturing process while maintaining excellence in production.
Heidenhain Adaptive Control
Function and cycle for automatic feed control for optimal and constant utilization of the drive power. The automatic feed control works via the spindle power and can be changed like the speed during the process. Advantage: Longer tool life and shorter processing time.
Movable control panel in front of the machine table:
At the front of the floor pan of the splash guard cladding there is a linear guide covered from above for the control panel in Dornhöfer design, incl. trolley and cable drag. The control panel can be ergonomically moved parallel to the X-axis Base tray covered from above with covered with a tear plate.
